▼Summary

Golf OneTap Score ("the App") lets you record golf scores on Apple Watch and review them on your paired iPhone.

The App collects no information about you. Everything you record stays on your own Apple Watch and iPhone. Neither the developer nor any third party can see or obtain that data.

▼Information the App handles

1. Scores you enter

- Date and time of the round, course name, number of holes
- Per hole: strokes, putts, penalty strokes, par, whether you hit the fairway

These are stored in a local database on your Apple Watch. They are never sent to any server.

2. Transfer from Apple Watch to iPhone

When a round ends, that round is transferred automatically to the App on your paired iPhone. On iPhone you can only view history and statistics; scores cannot be entered there.

This transfer uses WatchConnectivity, Apple's device-to-device communication feature. The data goes directly from your Apple Watch to your iPhone and never passes through our servers, iCloud, or any other outside service. Transferred data is stored in a local database on your iPhone.

3. Location

Only when you choose "Find courses nearby" on the round setup screen, the App reads your current location once. That location is used solely to order the golf courses bundled in the App by distance so the nearest ones appear on screen.

- Your location is processed on your device. It is neither stored nor transmitted.
- The App does not track you continuously and never reads your location in the background.
- If you decline location access, every feature remains available; simply type the course name instead.

The names and coordinates of the roughly 25,000 golf courses worldwide included in the App are based on OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL 1.0).

4. Health information (HealthKit)

During a round, the App starts a golf workout session. This prevents the App from being terminated mid-round, which would stop it from recording your score. This feature involves the following:

- Writing to Health: the round is recorded as a "Golf" workout
- Reading from Health: heart rate, active energy, and walking distance during the workout

This information is stored in Apple's Health app. The App does not transmit it anywhere, and the developer never obtains it. The App asks for Health access the first time you launch it. If you decline, score recording works exactly as normal.

The App does not use information obtained from HealthKit for advertising or marketing purposes, and does not provide it to any third party.

▼Disclosure to third parties

None. The App has no capability to communicate with any external server.

▼Tracking

The App contains no mechanism of any kind for tracking user behavior. It does not request the advertising identifier (IDFA), does not embed analytics tools, and does not send crash reports anywhere.

▼How to delete your data

- Individual rounds: swipe left on the "History" or "Stats" screen on Apple Watch, or on the "History" screen on iPhone. Deletion applies only to the device you performed it on, so delete on both if you want the record gone from both.
- All data: deleting the App from your Apple Watch and from your iPhone removes every record it stored.
- Workouts saved to Health: delete them individually from the Health app on iPhone.

▼Children's privacy

The App does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. In fact, it collects no information from any user.
